With this perspective the school “Arumug Velayutha Ganapathy” Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School was started on 10th may 1987 with the intension of promoting the educational value to the students of the surrounding area.
The school was started with 66 boys and 37 girls with the total strength for 103 students from L.K.G to II standard. The following year saw the up gradation of the school into a matriculation school. The school got matriculation affliction from Tamil nadu Government on 1994.
Till now the school is producing excellent result in X standard Public Examination. The children are Motivated in Extra activities like Karate, Yoga,chess, Abacus etc., to train them physically and mentally.
We have celebrated our “Silver Jubliee year” (1987 – 2012) in a grand Manner. Various Events like Inter class competition, Arts and Science Exhibition, has been done during the year.

Obtained permission to start a Matriculation School. Upgraded into a Matriculation School. Starts to Send Students for the X std Examination.

Silver – Jubilee celebration
2000 – 2001
Our students contributed a sum of Rs.17642 towards the Army Welfare Fund to PRIME MINISTER for the “Kargil Victims”.
2004 – 2005
As a service to the cancer people our students contributed a sum of Rs.13,300/- to the Global Cancer Concern India.
2011 – 2012
Our students help the old age people by contributing Rs.23,050 through “Help age India”.
2012 – 2013
Our students help the “Mother Theresa Welfare Trust” by contributing Rs.33,780 to help the needy people.
2013 – 2014
Our students contributed a sum of Rs.37,044 to “Eco Oxygen Trust” for planting the trees for our Environment.
A principle is the expression of perfection, and as imperfect beings like us cannot practice perfection, we devise every moment limits of its compromise in practice.
Great values are built on strong moral foundations . Men become great when they allow these values to take root within their souls and live by them.
Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is merely day dreaming, but vision with action can change the world.
The school aims at the education of children in a faithful manner. Service to society is service to society is service to god. The school stands for service to the society by providing education also for the First generation learners and molding the students as a good citizens.
A.V.G VIDYALAYA MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL is managed by A.V.G Educational Trust. In addition , the school is administrated by the correspondent Mrs.G.Kamalapathy, Principle Mr.G.kailasapathy M.A., M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil., The secretary Mr.A.V.Ganapathy and academic co-ordinators who deal with the day – to –day administration of the school and ensure the development.
